My favorite healthy holiday recipe:
Whole Wheat Pumpkin Applesauce Bread
- 1.5c whole wheat flour
- 1tbs pumpkin spice
- 1tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2c applesauce
- 1/2c honey
- 1tsp vanilla extract
Mix wet and dry ingredients separately before combining. Pour into a greased 9X5 bread pan and bake for 40-50 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle with chopped nuts or seeds for a little extra crunch!
